Figures on a square, in studio.
This is a series of thirty plaster figures covered in fabric, through which I explore who I am, what I am experiencing, and what I have experienced in the past. You are rooted in who you come from, but also in who you are and have been, and in everything you experience and have experienced, done, learned, read, seen and felt. The textile covering of the figures provides shelter for this vulnerable intimacy, which is unique to each individual and present in the depths of their consciousness. Sometimes it is visible to those you want to share it with, but more often it is not.
